Awrite! I'm Seungyeon Lee, a PhD student in University of Aberdeen. Welcome to my PhD website, and followings are the story I would like to talk. Natural systems are inherently uncertain, as many individuals and processes remain unobservable. My research uses statistical models with Bayesian framework to quantify this uncertainty and support decision-making in ecological issues. I'm currently focusing on tawny owls in Kielder Forest as a study system and the goal is to find the role of unseen floater populations in population dynamics.
